Author - Gauri Mirji
Gauri Mirji recently finished a postdoc tenure at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune. Her research topic was in cellular immunology and she studied the effect of temperature on T cell functions. She did her PhD at Advanced Centre for Treatment Research and Education in Cancer. Her thesis topic was on tumor immunology, wherein she studied the role of gamma delta T cells in leukemia patients. She likes to socialize and network with her colleagues. She has been a part of the organizing team of the 3rd National Postdoc Symposium held at IISER-Pune, and also the National Research Scholars Meet, held at ACTREC. She was also a student representative of student's council of ACTREC and was actively involved in giving voice to concerns of research students during PhD. Apart from research, she likes travelling, reading and photography.
